Attracting Native Songbirds to Your Backyard: Saturday. July 29th @ 2PM

Birds are nesting! It’s never too late to attract birds to your backyard. Join Stephanie Ellis, Wild Care’s Executive Director, for this fun and informative presentation. From feeder types, to bird seed, to native plants and nest box resources. Stephanie will provide info for attracting a variety of species of birds to your yard throughout the year. She’ll also cover “what to do” if you find a baby bird, or if a bird strikes your window. Learn how we can all better co-exist with our feathered friends. Stephanie will be joined by Nickerson, one of Wild Care’s Educational Eastern Screech Owls.

Stephanie is the Executive Director Wild Care, a wildlife rehabilitation hospital located in Eastham. She has a special affinity for birds and mice and has worked with wildlife on both coasts. She is most at home in her homeland habitat of Massachusetts. She loves dancing, and enjoying Cape Cod’s beauty.
