So You Want To Write Thrillers? In-Person / Online
Join us for 5 Saturdys this Fall-Winter for our So You Want To Write________ Writing Workshop Series! Each date will focus on a different genre, specifically Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Romance, and Mystery. These programs will be in a hybrid format, both over Zoom and in person (the teaching writers will be zooming in for each class). Our in person capacity will be 50 people. Our online capactiy is 300. This program is made possible by a generous grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. All are welcome. Sign ups are required! Zoom links will be sent out before each program. You have to sign up for each of the programs seperately based on genre.
So You Want To Write Thrillers is led by Gabino Iglesias!!!
Bio: Gabino Iglesias is a writer, journalist, professor, and literary critic living in Austin, TX. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed and award-winning novels Zero Saints and Coyote Songs. Iglesias’s nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Electric Literature, and LitReactor, and his reviews appear regularly in places like NPR, Publishers Weekly, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, Criminal Element, Mystery Tribune, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He’s been a juror for the Shirley Jackson Awards twice and the Millions Tournament of Books, and is a member of the Horror Writers Association, the Mystery Writers of America, and the National Book Critics Circle. His latest work of fiction is The Devil Takes You Home.
