Grief Literacy 101 In-Person
Grief is a natural response to loss.
Yet many bereaved people report feeling misunderstood and abandoned by their friends and communities due to a lack of education about the needs of the grieving.
Sharing Kindness is starting the conversation with Grief 101, a presentation at local libraries that covers "the basics" of grief: what it is, how it impacts our brains and bodies, and how we can support people in our lives who are going through it.
Sharing Kindness is a local nonprofit that provides suicide prevention, mental health education and grief support programs on Cape Cod.
Join us for this informative session presented by trained grief professionals from Sharing Kindness.
Registration is welcomed, but not required. To register contact Marianne Sinopoli at msinopoli@clamsnet.org or 508-240-5950 x3132.
