Artist Bio:

Aline Lindemann is an artist, poet and educator who is endlessly fascinated by connections between nature, faith, and the written word – a theme woven into everything she creates, sometimes overtly and other times subtly. By incorporating found materials such as vintage ephemera, scraps of old linen, or shoreline treasures into her paintings, collages, assemblages and textile work, she reminds the viewer to appreciate the past while beginning new conversations around community, permanence and earthly notions of divinity. Aline’s master’s degree and post-grad work is primarily in religious studies and education and writing; her artist training includes a lifetime of formal and informal coursework and coaching. Aline’s art has been shown for more than 25 years at galleries in Arizona and Massachusetts.
